This lady has the back breaking job of picking, carry and sorting tea in the plantations of Ella. It’s a dangerous job and many woman fall ill from malaria, leeches, snakes and deadly spiders. The normally day consist of a pre dawn walk of up to 5-10 miles to get to the plantation then followed by finding, picking, carrying and sorting tea in the big factory perched high on the hill side.
